Equipped with a Double D-ring buckle, this helmet provides increased safety and is less likely to come off in the event of an impact. Tinted and clear visors for model 890 can be purchased separately (asin:B0B822NGNK for Tinted, asin:B0B822WSML for Clear). This helmet is Snell SA2020 Certified and made of a Fiber Reinforce Plastic (GFRP) composite shell, making it lightweight and ensuring higher safety standards.

The helmet is compatible with HANS/HNR M6 Threaded Inserts (not included), making it easy to install Head&Neck Support devices for added protection during auto racing activities. A 40 MM sunshade film on the top of the visor helps reduce giddiness and dizziness caused by the sun or bright lights while racing.

The high-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) fire retardant inner pads provide comfort and enhanced safety in case of an accident. The tear-off posts button on the visor allows tear-off posts to be easily installed, ensuring a clear view based on the racer's needs.

It is important to note that this helmet is designed for automobile racing and is not US DOT approved for use on public streets, roads, or highways. However, it does meet all requirements of the Federal Motor Vehicle Standard (FMVSS) 218 for added peace of mind.
